BnB Interview: Marco Del Horno

“For me all the artists on Bullet Train are a priority and should strive to be bigger than the label. Bullet Train is just the vehicle to get the music to the greatest audience possible – but the artists should take the focus. A strong figure head is important but it’s also important that the artists have their own identity so they don’t just fall into someone else’s shadow.”

Another BnB interview, this time talking all things Bullet Train with head honcho Marco del Horno. Bad man bass vibes at the ready.

Hot City – Something Bout

Corker of a tune from Hot City which is a classy mix of synth stabs, a lovely gurgling bassline and some nice piano action. Perfect fodder to bring in the weekend. Something Bout is released on Moshi Moshi Records on May 14th.

On top of that they have also got to grips with the fire starting sickness from Nas ‘The Don’ and are delivering a free download of that via a link on their soundcloud. They will also be headlining room 2 of Chew the Fat’s Spring Sale alongside Dub all or Nothing on Friday 18th May; you can dig the event details here or marvel at the above flyer.
